We strive to provide the highest quality comprehensive eye care to our patients through the careful diagnosis, treatment and management of diseases of the visual system as well as ocular effects of systemic conditions in a professional environment.
The baldwin park eye care experience
Our examinations are more than just eyeglasses and contact lenses. Comprehensive Eye Examinations are important for the whole family every year, and we take pride in carefully evaluating your visual and eye health needs. Through state-of-the art equipment, and careful examination by our doctors, we assess our patients visual system and determine what type of visual correction is best recommended for each individual patient. Visual correction may include glasses, contacts, laser vision correction, or corneal refractive therapy.
Eye health evaluation
Further evaluation continues with what we believe to be the most important part of the examination, the eye health evaluation. Dilated Fundus Examination and diagnostic retinal imaging is performed to evaluate the health of the eye for many ocular conditions including Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, Cataracts, Dry Eye and more.
Common systemic considerations
There are many common systemic conditions that may be detected on a routine eye examination, including:
- Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, and High Cholesterol
- Neurologic Disease including Multiple Sclerosis and Brain Tumors
- Autoimmune disease including systemic lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, and Sjogren’s syndrome
Our doctors are often the primary gatekeepers for many of their patients, and we work closely with our area physicians and sub-specialists to ensure complete care for all patients.
